Suitable for both new and experienced yogis, gentle yoga offers a safe environment where participants can work at their own pace and ability level. Focusing on restorative and beginner poses, breathing, body awareness, relaxation and meditation, the class helps increase strength, flexibility, balance, and range of movement. Students should be able to get up and down off the floor unassisted, spend some time lying on their back and do seated work on the floor.
