Working with seniors with disabilities or dementia
Creating, organizing and supporting Brighter Days staff with conducting activities.
Caregiving experience a plus.  Fun games, arts and crafts, demonstrations, group discussions, music therapy, pet therapy, physical games and exercise.

3-4 hrs once a week, flexible scheduling.

Description

Love food prep? We have a few positions open in our Olympia Kitchen! You'll be helping to prepare daily congregate meals and home delivered meals. Must have a Food Handlers permit. Flexible scheduling and  a minimum of 3 months service preferred.

Meals on Wheels routes:  Needed Tenino Rochester and we need a backup driver for the Lacey area!  Must have proof of car insurance and a friendly demeanor!

Mason County Meals on Wheels driver needed 3-5 hrs twice a month or as needed.  If you like serving your community, helping homebound seniors, and driving, then Meals on Wheels is right for you! We've got an opportunity to deliver meals to seniors who rarely get visitors two times a month. Mileage reimbursement is available. Come help us deliver meals in beautiful Mason County.

We are also looking for a lunch check in volunter 1 hr weekly or as needed.

Our Well Check Program is great way to volunteer from home. Give weekly calls to seniors suffering from loneliness and Isolation. You'll be calling seniors just to check in. This program is launching in June. Computer Skills needed so we can track all phone calls and  and update the log - for now the spreadsheet will be in Google Drive, training in advance.
