Creating, organizing and supporting Brighter Days staff with conducting activities.
Caregiving experience a plus.  Fun games, arts and crafts, demonstrations, group discussions, music therapy, pet therapy, physical games and exercise.

3-4 hrs once a week, flexible scheduling.

Love food prep? We have a few positions open in our Olympia Kitchen! You'll be helping to prepare daily congregate meals and home delivered meals. Must have a Food Handlers permit. Flexible scheduling and  a minimum of 3 months service preferred.

Meals on Wheels routes:  Needed Tenino Rochester and we need a backup driver for the Lacey area!  Must have proof of car insurance and a friendly demeanor! 

Senior Services for South Sound offers many educational classes, exercise and gaming groups that require an experienced facilitator. Once you've proposed your idea to our Activities coordinators and it's been approved, this is your opportunity to check in the volunteer onboarding process. 

3 hrs weekly Serve brewed coffee, tea, cocoa and cider. Maintain Coffee bar inventory and ensure the area is clean at all times. All Coffee Bar volunteers must have a Washington Food Handlers permit.

We need two drivers for Mason County. 2-3 hours every two weeks. Routes vary. Meals are picked up at the Shelton United Methodist Church and deliveries are on Tuesday Mornings! Mileage reimbursement available. 

Must have valid Washington State Drivers License, proof of current Insurance and pass a Washington State Patrol background check. 

4 hours weekly. Welcome guests, answer phones, route calls and take messages, collect fees, record memberships, both new and renewal and other activities as assigned. Intermediate to advanced Computer skills and excellent customer service skills required.

3.5 hrs weekly located at the Olympia Senior Center. Budd Bay Bargains, selling donated clothing, accessories, some crafts and collectibles. Volunteers process donations, cashier, money reconciliation, merchandise product as well as light housekeeping on the sales floor. If you have excellent customer service skills and want to work in a fun environment, join the retail team.

Mason County Meals on Wheels driver needed 3-5 hrs twice a month or as needed.  If you like serving your community, helping homebound seniors, and driving, then Meals on Wheels is right for you! We've got an opportunity to deliver meals to seniors who rarely get visitors two times a month. Mileage reimbursement is available. Come help us deliver meals in beautiful Mason County.

We are also looking for a lunch check in volunter 1 hr weekly or as needed.

Our Well Check Program is great way to volunteer from home. Give weekly calls to seniors suffering from loneliness and Isolation. You'll be calling seniors just to check in. This program is launching in June. Computer Skills needed so we can track all phone calls and  and update the log - for now the spreadsheet will be in Google Drive, training in advance.
